Draft and validate. Never transmit.

A working proof of concept for AI-assisted public alert authoring. It pulls a live, public hazard feed, has an LLM draft a wireless-emergency-alert message grounded in warning science, then runs a fully deterministic validator in your browser and stops at a simulated human approval gate.

1 Source CAP. A live public hazard alert (or an offline sample).
2 AI draft. An editable, WEA-limited alert from a real LLM call.
3 Deterministic validator. Zero AI, the trust anchor, pass/fail with reasons.
4 Human approval gate. Simulated; writes an audit record, sends nothing.

Hard boundary. Public hazard feeds only, not the live IPAWS origination system. The AI drafts and validates; it never sends. The only "send" is a simulated approval that writes to an audit log.

Live alerts vary by weather. If a region is quiet, use the offline sample (a replayed OpenFEMA archived alert) so the pipeline always demonstrates.
